CONNECT GROUPS, DISCIPLESHIP AND RELATIONSHIPS
We think relationship in community is important. People are wired for relationships. Doing life together is better. At Every Nation we want to help you get connected and experience true spiritual community that will help you grow in God and stay strong in life. Many people never really experience the abundant life Jesus promises because they don’t have the right friends to do life with
In John 13:34 Jesus says: “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love one for another”
ABOUT CONNECT GROUPS
Every week, right across the city, people meet Online, doing life together, sharing testimonies, studying the Bible, challenging each other, building friendships and sharing Jesus.
Our Connect Groups are focused on helping Christians to be true disciples of Jesus Christ by assisting them in growing their relationship with God, building relationships with other believers and by encouraging outreach to others. Connect Groups play a vital role in the life of our church and we encourage everyone to join a one.
Jesus spent a lot of time with a group of just three men – Peter, James and John. Although He led a band of 12 disciples, He took special time to impart significantly to these three. The early church also met in small groups outside of the large temple court meetings, committing themselves to fellowship.
A perfect place to build close relationships.
A place of loving accountability.
Greater understanding on how to apply the Bible to our everyday lives.
Greater fruitfulness as Christians.
Effective way of disciplining others.
Fellowship with each other, share life with one another to hear the good things God is doing and to be able to pray into the challenges that we are facing.
Follow Jesus. Read the Bible together and look at how we can apply what we hear and read to our daily lives and to the world around us.
Fish for others. How can we encourage others to be a part of this journey we are? Who can we invite, share with, pray for and bring along?
Every week we have a team who work at writing a connect outline that is a tool for leading a group. This tool looks at three of our discipleship strategies and breaks the Sunday sermon inot these three components.
